Just moved to VOC and spent about $100 the first week. Then returned 3 days ago and was charged $17 for two tacos, rice and... beans. -It was from a younger man and not same as before. I will not go to this place again. They lost A LOT of business fromme. Read more
Tried Los Betos a couple of times now looking for something they can make that is edible. VOC lacks many fast food options and... it amazes me that this place can stay in business. For example: A.) They don't even cut their carne asada on their tortas. Theythrow a thin piece of carne asada on the sandwich like it was a piece of lunch meat. The sandwich quickly fell apart as thesteak for carne asada is often chewy (especially the dollar store brand). B.) The machaca burrito is basically eggs andjalapeños only the jalapeños are cut into some odd shape that make them stringy and impossible to eat without making a hugemess. While I can't speak for the inside of the establishment, I wish a food truck would park right in front of this place so wecould have some decent food and hopefully something better than Filibertos! Not sure if the Camp Verde Dairy Queen store(formerly with the same name) is the same owner but that place was at least edible. I can't help but shake my head as this isthe ONLY Mexican food joint that is worse than Filibertos and their nasty ecto-slime guacamole obsession!!! I wouldn't eat hereagain if it was free! If it was free, I'd still throw it on the floor in front of the chef and walk out. The subway next doorcould probably make better Mexican food... Read more
This place was amazing! Ordered takeout over the phone cause they were about to close. Way exceeded my expectations. Ordered the... combo that has the beef taco and cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Got some green and red salsas on the side and a chickentaco. It tasted so homemade I was in heaven while eating it. The guy at the counter when we went in to pickup the food was nice.Highly recommend and I may get it again for lunch tomorrow on the way out of town. Read more
