Super great spot to grab a bite. The staff is very friendly (thank you Rose for your awesome service)! We really enjoyed our... food; pictured is the clam chowder soup, gourmet bacon mac & cheese, and smoked salmon salad. Based on other reviews naming this restaurant the best food Sedro-Woolley has to offer, we were excited for a good meal after 5... days of hiking and camping. I'm assuming that i just ordered an "off" dish (shrimp & grits) but i was very disappointed. Theshrimp was inedible with an unusual and off-putting taste and texture. The grits were a dry brick under a spicy cajun sauce. Iwas honest with the server about why I couldn't eat it, to which she apologized, but the full priced item was still charged onour bill (thus the low rating). My partner had the chicken tenders and gravy dinner which he was nice enough to share with me,and it was ok. Unfortunately we won't be back to the area anytime soon to give them a second chance. Our meal at Magnolia was amazing. We ordered a Reuben sandwich and a turkey club with clam chowder. Everything was delicious and... flavorful. The prices were affordable and we took advantage of their outdoor seating area with the warm weather. The server wasalso very nice. Read more

Giving a 2 because waitress offered to put the bill "on the house" for cold fries and lousy coleslaw., but my husband insisted... on paying something. My "prime rib dip" was made with tough well done tough meat. Coleslaw tasted day old or more. Husband hadturkey pesto with the cold fries. One lemonade and one Coke to drink. Bill came to $56.00! Way too much for less than mediocrefare. We should have accepted the on the house offer. Best thing- we don't ever have to go there again! And we will not referanyone. Read more
