Just moved into the area and this place is right by both the grocery stores. We looked it up and it showed pretty good reviews... so, we have it a try. As you can see by the pictures, you will have plenty to choose from. We really had a hard time decidingwhat to try first. There were three of us eating, we had a burger, chicken fried chicken and boneless wings. Everything wasgreat, seasoned well, not overcooked, juicy and very flavorful. We stopped in for lunch. The server was very good. I had the meatloaf, it was a small portion size. It was pretty much ordinary.... The mashed potatoes were good but could have had more gravy for me. The others in our group had chicken fried chicken. Theportion size was large and tasted very good. The side salad was good. The iced tea is served in individual size pitchers, thiswas very good as you did not have to wait for a refill. I would say overall it is worth going there. Banana Pudding????, BIG cups and great menu!! Hard to pick but went with Chopped Steak and Wings. Chargers at the tables too!
Tasteless fish n shrimp plate. Bite the fish "fillets" oil comes out of them. Fillets, by the way, are nothing but tender... portions. 3 pieces of the fish sticks I got make a fillet... The Chicken fried steak is as small as it can be. Staff is nice.Pricee as it can be for the small amount of food on plate. Read more

Two of my cohorts ordered unsweet iced tea and it came in plastic pitchers...so the wait staff didn't have refill duties....the... ladies liked this. We were not thrilled with the naked straws, they were laying on our napkins, laying next to a sign that said" for everyone's health this table is sanitized for you". Other than that befuddler, the food and service was exemplary. Ourbook buddy got and loved the meatloaf and grilled cheese sammich, she could only eat half...other half was too good to leave soit made trip to San Antone in my ice chest. My wife enjoyed her chop steak covered in queso with a side salad and fried okra. I thoroughly enjoyed and devoured a lunch chicken fried steak with toast and fried okra. We wanted dessert but there was nobelly room. Very nice stop on our road trip. We'd stop here again. Read more
