This was my first time at this restaurant. My boyfriend took me there for Dinner, the entire place was so clean you could eat... off the floor. The waiter was very kind and on top of everything, the food portions were perfect and super yummy, food was alsoordered and received in excellent timing.. Stopped in after arriving on the last boat from BC. After 10pm and was still fairly busy. Service was decent. Seemed like the... wait for food was a bit long. Wonton tacos were great. Burger orders weren't completely right but we made do. Parking lot was sodark. Taco Time was closed next door so I don't know if there are lights at all in that section of parking. I ordered food to go and picked it up inside. I had the 8oz sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and shrimp parmesan... topping. The steak was cooked correctly but was a pretty "flimsy" cut of meat. Taste was ok. The potatoes were dry and didnot have the same flavor as usual. I needed to add some moisture to make them palatable. The shrimp (5 of them) were small butcooked correctly. The sauce has separated and was not good. Overall it was definitely not worth the price and was adisappointing meal. I hadn't eaten at an Applebee's in several years and I probably won't eat at one again based on this mostrecent experience. I want an affordable meal that tastes decent and that is not what I got.
