For the first time in my life, I wish I stopped at Wendy’s instead of a BBQ restaurant. You know it is bad when the Mac and... Cheese is the best thing on the menu. For $20 a plate you better be pumping out some quality BBQ. That’s the opposite of whatthis place is doing. This is the definition of Highway robbery. The portions were small, the biscuits were not good at all, andthe brisket.... No doubt the worst I have ever had. It was like it was cooked in a crockpot. Not real BBQ. This place is atourist trap. This is NO LONGER A TABLE SERVICE restaurant. When you walk in, you have to decide if you want to order from the menu or get the... food already prepared in the case. We opted to order from the menu - I did because the food in the case looked a little driedout. 2 of us split a rack of ribs & the 3rd had a sandwich. The rack of ribs had the best presentation I have ever seen: it wasimmense & appeared perfectly cooked. The ribs were as they appeared: tender & tasty. The accompanying mac & cheese was warm &cheesy. Cute little place. On the little expensive side for the portion sizes. The mac'n'cheese was pretty good, not much flavor but... super creamy. The ribs fell off the bone & were delicious. The pulled pork & pulled chicken weren't all that good. Butdefinitely try the cornbread salad, it was to die for!!
