I've been here many times over the years always getting a fish burrito of some sort. Recently I went back and was worried that... things had changed seeing the low ratings. Nevertheless, I had a tofu veggie burrito and it was amazing (despite the fact thatthe name "tofu veggie burrito" doesn't inspire confidence)! The staff seemed nice and well meaning, but food and the service were both very disappointing. With two folks behind the... counter and a mostly empty restaurant it took them almost 30min to get our order ready. Now I've had my fair share of Mexicanfood in different places and styles, but the rice and beans here were unlike anything I've had, in a bad way. They literallymixed some powder in white rice to make the "tomato" rice. Beans and corn seemed taken out of cans and microwaved. Everything,including the salsas, was bland (not even salt)! Read more
Let's start with the burrito. I ordered garlic chicken today and it was terrific. No wonder people tell me they serve the best... burrito in town. The chipotle salsa i ordered with my burrito was juat the right amount of spicy. Not to mention the cashierwas super nice to us. Great place, would definitely visit again in the future. Read more
Had lunch there on July 07 2022. Cod & Chips. Worst eating experience of our ten day trip. Service was very poor. Had to ask for... the water we paid for then had to ask for ice. You pay when you order and asked on receipt if you want to leave a tip before youset down. After server brought out our food, she was nonexistent ?back in corner pecking on her phone?. Food was just ?ok? butnothing special. We should of left when we walked in and seen we were the only customers. The only satisfaction I got was whenanother couple walked in.
