We read several reviews before picking this restaurant but still got **very** disappointed? - We waited for **1 hour** after... placing the order. - Rice is way too dry, we could barely eat it. - Waitress didn?t recognize the correct dish from a picture onGoogle reviews. - While we were still eating, which was 10 minutes after the food was served, we were given receipts to check? -[Important!!] The money they charged is **higher** than the price on the manual. I ate here in 2017 while visiting Seward from Anchorage. To this day it is some of the BEST Thai food I have ever had, I think... about the dish I got all the time and can?t find anywhere near me now that comes close. I?m writing this review 5 years laterbecause it really was good enough to last this long in my memory. I *think* I got the holy basil rice dish looking at theircurrent menu but could be mistaken. I didn't expect to have great Thai food in Seward Alaska, but I sure did. Woody's Thai Kitchen is amazing! Clean, cute,... bright, and fun interior...with excellent service. The waitress tended to everyone in the dining area very efficiently andalways with a smile. The Pad Thai was very yummy and the cream cheese wontons were fresh and crispy with a tasty filling andsauce. The bathrooms were clean. They played late 80s or early 90s pop music which was a nice blast from the past. I may havesang out loud a couple times. If I lived in Seward, this would be my favorite place to eat out. Read more
The food was delicious: We had the Bah Mee, Curry Noodle soup, Yellow Curry, and Garlic Chicken rice. The service was friendly... and helpful and the server had excellent recommendations. When we went they were out of several menu items, but we took that asa good sign that they prepare dishes fresh! We went in the late afternoon, and the dining room filled up quickly as the eveningwore on. It's probably a good idea to go in between lunch and dinner hours to avoid waiting. Read more
