Tasty, but the portions left a lot to be desired. I had lamp chops that were hardly a bite each, and my partner had veal that... was teeny little pieces. Tasted yummy, but I definitely left hungry. Read more

The food is AMAZING here!! The Sewickley Speakeasy is a small, quaint restaurant that has a long neighborhood history as well as... fresh cooked food. There is a nice selection of Seafood dishes as well as steak. The garlic "Smashed " potatoes are to die for!The service is personable and efficient. The restaurant is located in the upscale, historic neighborhood of SewickleyPennsylvania right near the Ohio River. The menu and wine list is quite impressive. There is also a fully stocked bar in thefront of the restaurant. There is ample parking as well. The vibe is low key yet warm and comforting. Being here makes you feellike you are in the living room of a family member's home. The prices are fair and the portions are decent. Great place topropose to the special person In your life! Our daughter planned this as a father's day dinner, it was such a nice gesture, however, there is no reason for valet only... (which then you feel obligated to tip), it has an odor of your grandmothers house and though our food looked fabulous and had adecent taste, the steaks ordered medium were overcooked. This place is a bit hard to find and from the outside it looks like someone's house but don't let the location/exterior put you... off. The food is quite excellent and very reasonably priced. We had the Russian oysters, baked brie, and crab stuffed mushroomsas starters, the (small) filet, duck breast, and scallop pasta as entrees - and everything was absolutely delicious. Theinterior is a bit dated but also that gives the restaurant a unique charm. Give it a try! Read more
