Stopped to get a quick bite while on our road trips. Horrid. My mom loves Freddys. Normally a great experience. If this was... my first encounter I would never go again. The place was filthy, the food was greasy. The chicken was tough and when you goto bite into it the grease was oozing. I think I'm done for a long time. $21 wasted. First time visiting Freddy's steakhouse & custard shop and everything was great!! We were waited on right away, the staff was... very friendly & helpful explaining the selections that they have. The steak burgers were delicious and the shakes (they call itconcrete) and sundaes were very creamy. The prices were very affordable and they came around asking if we needed anything andasked how everything tasted. It's a place that I will definitely come back and visit. Read more

This was my highly anticipated first visit to Freddy?s and It did not disappoint! I ordered the California Style double which... was excellent, the cheese curds were decent but probably not worth the upcharge. Pretty clean in general despite being a littleunderstaffed. Employees were very friendly, especially Devin. He was working custard and register as they were missing adedicated custard person for the period in which we ordered. He was very calm and always had a smile on his face. One member ofour group had wanted a milkshake but decided against it as it was expensive (Custard and Milkshakes here are expensive!). Afterwe had started our meal Devin brought a milkshake because they ?Had a little extra of the peppermint you wanted?.
