What a hidden gem. I discovered this place through a referral from an acquaintance. I called them yesterday evening to find... out if they could accommodate an order for 6 and to learn their hours. During the conversation I was informed that I could givethem my order and it would be ready for me upon pick up the next day. I gave them an order for 6 fish sandwiches, 6 orders ofhush puppies, 6 cole slaw, and 6 fried green beens. I advised them I would be there at 11:45am for pick up. I arrived at 11:43and they were packing my order as I walked in the door. What a pleasant surprise to see such excellent customer service. Thefood was great and the sandwiches were much larger that I expected. I can recommend this place with confidence and willcertainly make my go-to for fish in Seymour. Read more
Just driving through on vacation and did a quick search for highly rated places. (We like to do local establishments while... traveling) This one popped near the top and was a great place to stop for a quick bite. Catfish was fantastic and so were thefried green beans. The people were very friendly and polite. If you are looking for a local place for good fish I wouldrecommend hitting this place up. Our kid also gives a thumbs up to the Starburst they had for sale. I love Hills fish stand. It is a Seymour staple! The Hills have done an amazing job renovating it, making it very nice inside... but still keeping the old historical look inside and out. The cheese balls with ranch are my favorite appetizer, the tenderloinsare big enough for two people to share, and the large fish sandwich is a struggle to put down by your self! And the prices areamazing! Its always cooked perfect and is one of my go to restaurants. Love supporting such a great hard working family. Read more
