Just Wow. drove 7 miles off I-39 for breakfast. What a great move. Yes, local place, yes great service, yes good food. But.... but Great food! My wife's eggy biscuit looked good and she said was very good. My Mexican skillet was fantastic. Base ofAmerican fries with bell and jalapeno peppers. And chorizo!! This was not my place....I had to wait for any one to come to table .they where talking to other customers and who nose what... else..they has some customers but someone could have said..( someone will be with you soon). I bought 2 meals one for dinner. Iwould have to say most things are pre made .. I had there O'Brian. That was a pre.made patty. Shabbona is a small town and to be honest I was expecting a litte run down Cafe. It was extremely clean, tables and booths we... new without holes, the breakfast was VERY good, staff was courteous. I highly recommend Shabbona Cafe if you're it town. Theresidents of Shabbona have a gem here. Just watch your step going out. Read more
