This place has a wider than usual range of popular foods, and varies their menu fairly often. Their also the only bar I can find... with fresh mint leaves, and bartenders who can deal with a no sugar mint julep. This one even referred to it as a Julep 0. CalSimple. I had a great prime rib, my wife had Chicken Pot Pie, which is really hard to find in restaurants. Just a great night.We called while on the way, and they put us on the waiting list then, so our wait was 5 minutes on the outside. When they weretelling people it would be half an hour. This is a neat local hangout. Food was really good and the atmosphere was fun.
I went with about 10 people and we were there almost right as they opened for the day. Everyone was so nice and the waitress was... so kind. Food was quick and delicious. I got the fried chicken salad with buttermilk ranch. Read more
