I'm proud of Frateli's and the family who runs it, they've Faithfully served Shawnee quality authentic Italian food for... decades. Pasta dishes? The Cannelloni is excellent, the chicken parm, baked ziti, lasagna, and Tortellini Scremati is alsogreat. You can't go wrong with any red sauce pasta dish here. Their Pizza is also a delicious community go-to and is a goodchoice for carry out. Stromboli and calzones are also a good offering. All dinner meals come with a salad, their house saladdressing is good but unique, try it but get a backup dressing just in case its not your style. Meals also come with bread, thebread is good when it's not overdone (which is more often than not, and my only criticism). Great place to eat! Food was excellent. Service was good and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back.
Extremely slow even when not that busy, food is sub-par Italian. One waitress is nice and attentive while the bigger taller one... will ignore you to your face. I've been there a few times and even though I leave a generous tip, I still get ignored by her.I'm fed up with the way I'm treated when going there and refuse to go anymore. If there were another Italian Restaurant inShawnee other than Mazzio's(Disgusting) Frateli's would be out of business. I can't wait. Read more
I love this place, the staff and owners. All of them are such good souls. The food is fresh and prepared with attention to good... flavors and combinations of ingredients. I love their stuffed mushrooms to start, and they will melt in your mouth. Also, thehouse salad is simple but their house dressing is what makes it so good. Top the salad off with some Parmesan and a butteredroll, and you'll thank me later. Finally, I almost always order the cannelloni. It looks unassuming, but packs a lot of greatflavors starting off with the marinara sauce. It is broiled to give the cheese a chewy texture. Writing this makes me want to gothere ASAP.
