Wonderful and gracious hosts?make you feel like a guest in their home. Accommodations were outstanding?comfortable and warming... environment. The woodwork in the main house has all been very well preserved?lots of character and charm. The breakfasts werehearty and delicious?plenty of choices for all types of eaters including gluten free and vegetarian options. Best blueberrypancakes I?ve ever had! We loved our experience here! The owners, Rose & Anatoly, are so kind, welcoming and honest. The rooms are clean, comfortable... and spacious. The location is very close to Burlington, as well as other sights. And most importantly, the food was delicious.And super generous with the portion size! I had a fantastic time at Heart of the Village Inn! The hosts are warm and welcoming even when I am Deaf, and they told some... hidden gems around Vermont. We stayed in the Carriage House because there are no steps to maneuver to get to our choice of the Bostwick room. Spacious and... clean. Bed was firmer than mine at home but still comfortable. We could hear the guests upstairs but it was no big deal.Breakfast is made to order and was DELICIOUS! We like chatting with the other guests but these were tables for two perhaps setup that way because of COVID? In any case the breakfast is wonderful and the hosts are friendly and accommodating.
