This is a gem of am establishment, oldest in the world, or second I forget...but they've got an awesome juke box, a novelty... sport indeed, tournament nights are bustling, cheap delicious drinks, and the venue has left all its past charm untouched, classic features like the ash trays bring you back to a lost time, fun daily cocktail mixes, and great bands play as well! Itsgot lovely easy going accomodating owners and the location is right on the glacial potholes. Can't go wrong! Read more

This is my new favorite bowling alley. Eight lanes makes for a cozy, exclusive experience. Two of us arrived at 4pm on a... Saturday and were greeted warmly by the manager Tony, who's a real gent. They charge by the hour, which was enough time for usto play a full, three string game. The actual lanes are fantastic which made for a great roll (you'll probably score above youraverage, we both did), historic New England feel (the place opened in 1906!), plenty of refreshments and a well-stocked bar. This is the real deal, no frills, no distractions. No pool table, no air hockey, no horrible pizza. Nothing but half-worcesters,spread eagles, deadwood, a glorious candlepin experience. It was totally worth the hours drive for us (plus it's off thebeautiful Mohawk Trail). Five stars easy, most highly recommended. Thanks again, Tony! Read more
