We love Grandmas, normally. Never had a complaint at all ever. Today was ridiculous. Waited a solid hour for a carryout order. I... waited in the establishment for a solid 45 mins watching the food sit, not under the heat, but rather on the counter steadilygetting cold. And the pics I have attached is what the wait was for??? Really guys? I know it is Saturday, but I have never seenthem so unorganized. Wish I could give a 0 star for today's service. Read more
The food here was incredibly good! Everything was fully cooked or cooked exactly how we ordered. They have an enormous menu... selection, we struggled to make a decision on breakfast food alone. Lots of menu options. Never had anything bad here. The country fried steak and gravy are amazing as is anything breakfast. Did... have fries that were over done beyond my preference but someone might prefer that. Fast and friendly service always! Read more

Breakfast is always good. We visited from out of state and tried lunch there last week. All 4 different lunches were not hot. ... Barely warm. We think the menu is too big to get all the meals out together HOT. We suggest you bring each persons plate outwhen it?s ready, it?s better than a cold meal. Read more
Back in Shelbyville. This time the stop was Grandma's Pancake House. Today I was pleased with the preparation of my breakfast.... Very flavorful. Decided on a spicy skillet. It was all very good. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was kind of busy sothis is a sure sign of a restaurant doing great business. Keep doing what you're doing. It works. Had lunch here today and got country fried steak with mash potatoes. Menu said $9.99 . Got my check and it was $10.99 plus they... were going to charge me $1.59 for gravy despite that it's suppose to come with it. I asked the cashier why the price change shesaid the owner raised all the prices just now ????..... uhhh ok but it's not posted anywhere ??? Just felt it was unethical thatprices can be increased on a "just now" basis with no communication. Read more
