This place is awful. Worst breakfast in Shelbyville. Do your selfs a favor and spend the extra $ and go to Cracker Barrel. You... pay all this money at DQ and the food is garbage. Biscuits are black and unchewable, the gravy is so watery I don?t think it?seven gravy any more. I would have rated them less than I did but one star is the least you can do. Food places now days havefell so far from how things use to be. There use to be a quality to it, now they hire people that it?s clear have no idea how tocook a biscuit or anything. Please people do your self a huge favor and keep driving when looking for something to eat. Eatingout of someone?s trash cans would be a higher quality of food then this place. Read more

Wow. Just had a superiorly bad experience at this Dairy Queen location in Shelbyville, KY. Went through the drive through... tonight at 8:30 PM. At first when we pulled up we were greeted decently and asked for an order and I responded with just give usone second please and then not 30 second later, again, asking us for our order and me responding with just one second please. Aminute goes by and she?s anxiously asking us to put our order in so she can be done with her job, so my wife orders a scoop withsprinkles and she responds with ?we?re out of regular sprinkles. Are the Christmas sprinkles fine? ?Yes that?s okay? responds mywife. Then I ask for a pumpkin pie blizzard with the addition of brownies and she responds with we?re out of brownies and whipcream. I then ask if there?s anything they can sub for the brownies or whip cream and she says ?no?. I respond with ?you havenothing you can substitute?? and she responds with ?no?. This is bad & lazy customer service that not only hurts the store butalso the brand. We pull to the drive through window and it?s a young lady slouched over the front counter on her phone who?stalking to us on the drive through mic. Wow. People are so lazy these days and this Dairy Queen especially gives very littlecustomer service. I?m wowed by the fact this girl couldn?t at least offer something else. If you don?t want to work for peoplefind a job outside of this industry please! Read more

I drive a lot of miles for work. As such, I treat myself once a week to a DQ dipped cone. I've probably darned near been to... every DQ in Kentucky and Indiana. This one us to be avoided. The service is slow. Like crazy slow. Took 30 minutes from the timeI got in line in the drive through behind 6 other cars until I reached the window. All I ordered was a large chocolate dippedvanilla cone and a cup of water. Once I reached the window and paid I waited 8 more minutes for my order which was sadlydisappointing. Water us water, it was fine. But the "large" ice cream cone only had ice cream about an inch and a half abovethe top of the cone and chocolate was running down the cone and very messy. I asked the girl if that was supposed to be a largeto which she replied, "uh yeah" with her head titled and eyes rolled. Won't be back if I'm dying of starvation or cravings. Read more

It might be time to re-examine the cooking time on the fish sandwich. They tend to be overdone. The new double and triple... patty burgers are meh. When I want a burger, I want one patty, onion, pickles, cheese, tomato, ketchup and little else. Keepit simple. A1 sauce is good, but if I want onion rings, I order them, but on the side, not on the burger. Read more
