My husband ordered a pancake combo (pancake, hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs). I ordered a pecan waffle only. I'd like to say first... that the waitress that takes the drinks is very kind. This was a Monday or Tuesday morning. I bite into my waffle andimmediately spit it out because it tastes like onions. This let's me know that the griddle was not properly cleaned. I catch thewaitress that takes the food orders and ask her to take the waffle because it takes like onions. I say it discreetly andpolitely. My husband continues to eat his food. One thing that he does is eats his sides first. He finishes eating hishashbrowns, bacon and eggs, and goes to eat his pancake. He takes a bite... it's a long piece of brown hair cooked in it. Thenice waitress who takes the drink orders walks past, I let her know. I follow her to the register as she had to update thebill. The nice waitress has to call over the manager to process the transaction, which will now be free. The waitress who tookour order is now at the register as well. (Manager, drink waitress and food waitress are all standing there). The manager anddrink waitress are trying to cancel out the bill. I say thank you and begin to go back to my husband. The food waitress says"they waited to eat all of their food before saying something?!" I was livid by this point. I turned around and said "actuallywe didn't...my waffle tasted like onions, which meant you all didn't clean well. And my husband ate all of his sides first andbit into a pancake With hair cooked in it! " I said " I can show you the hair!, and since he did eat his sides, we can pay forthat. I don't have a problem with that. I am not trying to get over on a $16 bill!!" The manager insisted that it was okay. That we didn't have to pay. But the attitudes about everything, coupled with the unsanitary practices just turned us completelyoff from this place! I will NEVER patronize Huddle House EVER again!! Read more

Entered at 2pm sharp and there was eight employees standing and sitting around. Most tables were empty and we were not greeted... upon entering as we had been in past years but one waitress came promptly to our table and took our drink orders for sweet teafor both of us. She brought one tea and one soda which she corrected. She came back 5 minutes later and we placed our orders. Mybrother ordered two eggs over medium, grits, patty sausage and raisin bread toast. I ordered patty melt and french fries. Thesweet tea we ordered was very weak. We got most of our order at 2:221pm. My brother got hash browns instead of grits and histoast was delivered after his eggs were almost eaten. The patties on my patty melt were very thin and didn't come close to theedges of the bread. There may have been a piece or two of almost invisible onion but the flavor wasn't too bad. The friesweren't really hot. The waitress did come back and fill our drinks once when they were half empty and never checked on us againand never asked if everything was okay or bring our bill. We never complained or said anything and at check out she wasn't veryfriendly nor thanked us. I think it's going to be a while before we go back and it's too bad because this place used to be sogood. BTW: $2.59 for each tea, $7.49 for patty melt and $7.79 for the eggs and sausage for a total of $24.24 Read more

Cute little restaurant that I had the luxury of enjoy for the 1st time with my amazing fiance which was an added bonus. Food was... great and coffee was fresh. As we were getting ready to pay for our breakfast a general man in a nice suit came to our table andpolitely introduced himself and said he didn't know what it was but something was tugging on his heart to pay for our breakfast.Turns out he is the Preacher from a church in Texas and there congregation was here for a conference, very nice gentleman. Hisgenerosity meant the world to us and God knows why. Read more

The food is good but I've walked in and turned right around cause the place was to cold for me to sit down and enjoy my food.... The next time when I left out I called them and told them it was to cold and they turned the air off. It was cold for a whilebut at least I didn't have that cold air blowing down on me. Read more

We as a family have gone to this huddle house for years when we visit our Tennessee family's. Always friendly servers and great... food and a lot of it. We had fruit instead of potatoes but I couldn't finish it all. I was sad leaving some of it! Read more
