Charming small town restaurant. Enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and the personalized service. The food was very good and... presented well. With an excellent offering from the menu. However, for a small restaurant. The service was very slow and theyforgot our appetizers. Several parties arrive after us and had gone before we were ever served. So the 4 stars are for food andatmosphere only. 2 Stars for the wait time and service. However they did comp us our deserts and coffee. Which was greatlyappreciated. We will be back on our next visit to Connecticut. Read more

We recently had a family event at The Painted Lemon and it was beyond great in my expectations. Kimberly and Giovanni listened... to what I wanted and they came through with flying colors. They were very considerate and wonderful hosts. The food was fabulousand there was not one complaint about any of it. Everyone loved it. Truly delicious. The facility is light, bright andwelcoming.
