11/13/22 6:30 pm..It was not busy, 1 person in line in front of us and 1 delivery driver waiting. The young man with a shabby... beard was very slow taking orders. He was more concerned about rolling his beard hair with his hand. He rolled his hair theentire contact time.. he rang up the sandwich, chips and drink all separate making it more expensive than as a combo.. the waitfor our sandwich was way longer than other Firehouse locations that I have visited that were busier.... 5 dirty tables.. no onecleaned the tables during our visit. 4 employees present that I could see. I love Firehouse Subs, was hesitant to write this because it has been addressed in other reviews. I ordered online at 1:11 -... online said order would be ready at 1:30, it was closer to 1:45. The employee apologized for the wait, the other employee nextto her made them comment that they are always slow, must be an inside joke or not. I ordered online with hopes that I would beable to pick it up and go. Also they are not using the pick up station so if you order online they will call your name. It istruly a shame that this experience wasn't good and it seems to be this Sherman, TX location. Never had this at any otherFirehouse Subs. Good luck to owner/manager at this location, hope you can find people that take these reviews seriously. Mysandwich was fine, but another issue was there was no ice in the drink machine. Read more
We live Firehouse Subs but today?s experience at the Sherman store is unacceptable. Right after we order, the guy making... sandwiches whispers to the cashier that it?s taking 20 minutes to fill an order. Then a waiting customer walks up to him and askwhat the problem is because he?s been waiting over 20 minutes. The store is now full of 8 tables waiting on orders. The cashieris not telling anyone that the wait is so long. Apparently there?s a third employee in the back instead of helping get theseorders filled. I have no idea what happened, 46 minutes in and out, no ice in the ice machine, sandwich was still decent and the 2 employees... were moving at a snails pace, I understand being short staffed, but act like you want to be there. Moving at a snails pace willnever get the customer that just payed 20 bucks for food coming back. If it does not pick up some speed soon, I just don't seehow it will survive. That is my .02 cents.
