Special shout out to SPECIAL NOODLE HOUSE. My husband and I love spicy food and truly miss Chinese salt and pepper squid that we... were accustomed to in Calgary. Low and behold Special Noodle House had deep fried squid on their menu. We asked our serverabout the dish and if they could make it spicy for us. Not only did she say yes but also knew the dish we were talking about.REMEMBER, this is a Vietnese restaurant. It was absolutely FABULOUS. No need to drive to Calgary for our favourite Chinesedish. Goes without saying, the service was top notch. This place us FABULOUS. They aldo have the best bubble tea and soups! Read more

Special Noodle House is a average looking restaurant that is in an unassuming strip mall. I ordered a two colours vermicelli... bowl with pork and spring rolls. I must say the spring rolls and the pork were both very good and flavorful. The service wasgenerally pretty prompt and quick. We got in and out in 35 minutes which is great for the lunch crowd.
