The food was just ok. Unfortunately, the kimchi that came with the short rib wasn’t properly fermented, and the rigatoni was... super salty. I was surprised they don’t carry Ship Bottom Brewery beer, since they’re local. Our server, Marjorie was veryfriendly and I liked we could pay with the QR code on our check instead of waiting for a card to be swiped and returned. Theblowfish wallpaper is very cute. Read more

My Wife and I were looking forward to our 1st time at this restaurant. Because of being High risk during this Pandemic decided... to carry out. When I entered there were a group of girls by the front desk. Did not get a "Warm" welcome and they seemed annoyedabout wanting carry out opposed to eating in. No one seemed to want to take my order. When finally asked what I wanted toldthem first order for my Wife is the Pasta. Not available for "Take Out" was the reply. I felt that was strange and asked for amenu to take out to my Wife to make another selection. This request also seemed to be a bother. My Wife decided on the Chickenand I the Crab Cakes. The order was ready in a reasonable amount of time and when I payed asked if we could eat outside at oneof the many picnic tables out front. No, absolutely Not was the answer. We decided to eat in our car in the parking lot. TheChicken was tasteless and the Crab Cakes so so. And let me comment about the portion size. Felt we had order from the Childrensmenu. Thank goodness we had a "Gift Certicate" from family and didn't have to pay for this Awful Dining Experience. Would"NEVER" go back or "Recommend" this restaurant to anyone! Read more

A fine restaurant with a small but excellent menu and an interesting rustic decor. We've been to the Arlington a couple of... times over the past few years, and the food is always exceptional. Our most recent visit, though, was marred by the unusuallylong time it took to receive our entrees. And because the decor is almost exclusively hard surfaces, the dining room becomesintolerably loud and noisy with even just a few tables occupied. Read more

The food is delish and the drinks (beer and cocktails) are great. Typically, that checks enough boxes to keep me coming back for... more. However, my recent experience here has me wondering why I ever wanted to go here in the first place. I disagree that theyare a family-friendly spot, at least for younger children who aren’t able to sit still in their seat for the entirety of themeal. To make a long story somewhat short, I’ll say that my family and my sister’s family were excited to go here but wewere immediately made to feel like we didn’t belong there with our three children, who are very pleasant and happy while alsobeing active and curious. We were encouraged not to sit in the dining area if we couldn’t guarantee the kids would stay put atthe table. So, we willingly took the awkward hint and sat in the bar area at a high top. Two of the three children were coloringquietly at our feet and our server came over and put all of their utensils back on the table (while they were in the middle ofusing them!) while passive-aggressively commenting about them being on the floor. Although we were admittedly annoyed becausethere was no one else around us and they were harmlessly playing out of anyone’s way, we somewhat understood that they couldtechnically be a tripping hazard. So, we tried to be moved outside to make our server happy, only to have anotherpassive-aggressive and demeaning conversation with the manager who informed us that they don’t have permits to allow food orbeverage outside. So, we stayed put at our high-top but endured what seemed to be lots of stares and annoyance from the staff. All 4 adults were highly uncomfortable so we decided to end our outing there (after yummy drinks and some lightfare). Typically, I’ll try any restaurant twice because I think everyone is entitled to an off day, but my recent experienceleft my family and my sister’s family feeling VERY unwelcome and uncomfortable. With so many other establishments on LBI whoare mor Read more

Solid dinner while on vacation - easy reservation and check in, service was super pleasant and fast, food was very good, plenty... of kid options and kid friendly while still maintaining a nice restaurant atmosphere. I’m not complaining considering it’ssummer and it felt great - but kids may need long sleeves for the A/C. We will definitely be back soon! Read more
