The service was great. The server was personable and quick. The food was excellent, tasty with large portions. I had the turkey... club with steak fries. The sandwich was great. The steak fries were hot and fresh. So fresh that when I salted them the saltstuck. Salted fries are so much better. Read more

This was our first time eating at Sweet Basil. Our server was excellent! We were seated right away and our drinks arrived within... a minute of placing our order. We tried the spinach and artichoke dip and we would highly recommend it. Our meals were good buta touch on the bland side. The side salads were excellent. There prices are reasonable and we will definitely try it again. Read more

We stopped here because of the unique name and we really enjoyed their food! Nice atmosphere, great and very friendly... staff/waitresses. Prices are not too expensive but not super cheap, which was perfect for what we were looking for today! Eventhe non-Italian items were delicious!! Read more

Updated review 3/4/22: I am leaving my one star review as my follow up meal was not impressive. I ordered baked haddock, fries,... green beans, and a side salad with the house Italian dressing. I ordered the food to go and ate it quickly after pick up. Thefish was over cooked, lacking flavor. Green beans were not the fresh kind, probably frozen, and nothing special. The fries werein my to go container with all my other food and the steam and juice from the fish and green beans left all the fries soggy. Thesalad at least was a bed of mixed greens and had cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, onion and croutons. The croutons taste homemadebut between the herbs in the croutons and the dressing, it?s just too much. I love flavor, I love seasonings but too much canjust be too much. *********** I?ve ate here a few times in the past and was never blown away but will occasionally order foodfrom here about once a year as restaurant options are limited in the area. My family and I visited on a weekday night and it wasby far the worst food we have had here yet. We ordered the mushroom patch appetizer, fettuccine Alfredo with a side of twomeatballs and a side salad with house Italian balsamic, and an Italian sandwich with a side of fries. I tried everything. TheAlfredo and fettuccine wasn?t bad but the meatballs were over seasoned, over cooked, and hard. The Italian sub seemed basicenough that it couldn?t be bad, but the bread it was served on was so thick, lacked veggie toppings and not nearly enoughdressing as it was dry and hard to eat, we didn?t bother asking for any dressing as there was not a good ratio of filling tobread as is. The fries were fine, not seasoned but were fine with a side of ketchup. The mushrooms were shriveled up on theoutside but moist on the inside. The were also just fine, but I felt they had more cream crumbs than crab mixture and if therewas spinach artichoke dip in them per the menu, it couldn?t be distinguished or tasted. We were all hungry a Read more

A great atmosphere with great staff. The food was good... But not great. I ordered 4 cheese ravioli and my wife ordered the... Tuesday lasagna special. Can you tell the difference in the pictures below? Which is which? The bruschetta has red onions underthe tomatoes... Unexpected and strong flavor from a traditionally simple appetizer. The marinara sauce is sweet basil but it'sso sweet you need the tomato chunks to bring the acid back into the tomato sauce. The desserts were good, flavorful, and nicebut with such large portions for the appetizer and dinner, we couldn't finish dessert. The salad and appetizer arrived quickly, however the main course took 30 minutes to arrive at our table... for ravioli and the daily special. Don't get me wrong we likedit and will definitely visit again... But it didn't achieve a 5 start rating. Read more
