I really hate writing posts like this but need to share my disappointment. The Atrium was at the top of my venue list when... searching for a new venue for our wedding celebrations. We got there a little early just to view the venue and were excited tosee it. When we got inside the little vestibule, we saw a group sitting at a table on the other side of the venue, which lookedto either be a planning session for another event or a staff meeting. We did see a few people see us and there was a bell whenwe walked in, so we waited outside not to disturb. However, no one took the time to come over and even share that they wererunning behind or any sort of introduction. While being very patient, it was almost 20 minutes and not one person made anyeffort to share that they were running late. I checked my email and didn?t receive anything from Josh either who I hadcoordinated the tour with. While I know this was a short amount of time in hindsight to wait, it was just such a negative tonefor us to not even be greeted in anyway, even if it was a ?hey, will be there shortly.? For this being one of the biggestcelebrations we will ever host, I would not be able to confidently go into a setting where we cant even be communicated with.Such a disappointment and waste of time. Excellent venue!! My son and daughter-in-law held their wedding and reception at the Atrium in mid-August with about 100 guests.... I highly recommend this venue! From the moment we contacted them (a year prior) and throughout the planning and the event, theentire staff was professional, responsive and kind. The facility is gorgeous with exposed brick walls and a stunning rooftopgarden. The groomsmen used the lower level to get ready. We held the ceremony on the main floor. We used the rooftop for acocktail hour and then returned to the main floor for dinner and dancing, while still having the rooftop available for drinks, conversation and cigars. We also did a sparkler send off on the rooftop. Thank you to Josh, Ray and especially Lori for makingthis a wonderful event! Read more

So much more spacious than it looks from first appearance. I do think they need a larger sign in front of their venue, however.... As a seasoned sign salesperson, I can tell you that that is very difficult to read. Anyway. I don't want to give away too manysecrets, but the building is three floors all together. Main floor is where the ceremonies are held, and then you go up to theatrium which is open air, for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. There are different seating areas, some at the front of the buildingthat faces Capitol Dr., and some at the back. The grounds were very pretty in the back part of the atrium, which was also alittle more roomy than the front of the atrium. Then the first floor undergoes a makeover and becomes a lovely venue for awedding reception, with a bar and plenty of space to dance. The food was catered; it was quite good. Staff, whether Caterers orfrom The Atrium, were all very polite and professional and attentive. There's parking on Capitol, behind the place, some streetparking, and then you have to get creative. Even though it was 92 degrees outside, the first floor where most of our time wasspent remained very comfortable. I liked being in the area, and there's just more to this place than meets the eye than when youfirst see it. Read more
