I love this restaurant. I've been going here for nearly 20 years now, and it is never dropped in quality. Despite being busy and... currently understaffed, the food was delivered to the table quickly and accurately. I highly recommend it for anyone looking foratmosphere and a delicious meal. They can easily accommodate a large party, or make dining alone feel special. Do yourself afavor and check it out on Sundays for a brunch spot option if you're looking for a different experience. They're understaffed yet you can see the staff step up and shine. The GM Ms. Dana bus tables, answer phones, run food and stays... personable while engaging all customers. There are daily specials, but not on Monday. The food is fresh and remains consistentwith taste. Inflation aside....their prices are steady with the market. Sign up for their emails and you'll get a heads up onthe deals. Highly recommend fajitas, apple pie, the Wednesday enchilada special and tortilla soup never disappoints. Read more

Like so many other places nowadays, they were short-handed, and illness may have been a factor in that short-handedness, but we... were there for over an hour before our food arrived. Other parts of the service experience were sliw as well. Once it did, itwas good, though. We hadn't eaten in an El Chico in a number of years, but used to quite a bit when we were dating.
