It doesn?t have to be so sweet! Excellent food and service!! So we had read the reviews and my hubby does not like sweet... spaghetti so we mentioned that to the waitress. She explained that they have a basil marinara too that?s not sweet and moresavory. She was amazing and said she would bring both with our bread so we could see which he liked better. The basil sauce wasamazing with small chunks of tomatoes and delightful flavor. He loved the Italian sampler. He was able to get the spaghetti andLasagna topped with the Basil sauce. I had the chicken Aurora and it too was amazing and super cheesy. Service was great. Was anhour drive, but we will definitely be making that trip again. Read more
Delicious food and atmosphere. They bring out toast and sauce at the beginning of your meal that is just as good as an... appetizer. Friendly staff greets you when you walking and takes care of you through your meal. Ordered the muffuletta which wasdelicious. The spaghetti sauce here is slightly sweet but not overpowering. This is definitely a great place for Italian/Sicilian food. The decor is cozy and definitely feels like your in an eatery in... Italy. Our waitress (the tall, pretty, red headed girl) was delightful! Friendly and on top of her job! The food wasdelicious and the portions were plentiful. I would definitely recommend giving this place your business. They are worthy ofmore than 5 stars! Read more

This local restaurant has stayed consistently atmospheric with delicious Louisiana style Italian food for at least 25 years. My... go-to is the lasagna or a meatball po' boy, with a glass of sweet mint tea. My waitress was attentive, genuinely sweet, and onpoint with her inquiries as to whether or not I needed anything else. They did up the menu prices recently, but not in a waythat would break the bank. The food portions are huge, and easily enough for two meals. It also appears as though the restaurantgave itself a facelift with new menus, vinyl booths, and an intensive cleaning.
