Good coffee and pastries, but what happened to the inviting atmosphere? They used to have comfy furniture and an extremely... talented jazz singer who added to the cool, eclectic vibe. Now there?s just stiff tables and chairs, and echoing silence. It hasas much appeal as an office break room. Wow! Bean Town has a whole new look out front. Someone drove thru the window, hence the renovation! ???? Delicious lemon tart... and other scrumptious pastries. Glad this Sierra Madre landmark has survived & hope it keeps the old coffeehouse culture &charm. Will be back to support! Read more
Bean Town is everything that a neighborhood needs in a coffee shop. They have excellent coffee, a fine selection of breakfast... items, and a living room vibe that encourages you to stay a while. I also like that is a place to work and meet with others.Heck, I think this would even be a comfortable place to take your favorite someone for a date (even if it was you pup on thefront patio).
