First, service is the best, warm tortillas with a good salsa with a little kick, they have hotter if you want, the Carne Asasda... burritos are the best, I get mine with the Ed's sauce, awesome Chile Verde sauce, There combo plates are awesome, overall Igive them a 10, haven't had anything bad there. Who is going to this place willingly? Jesus. No flavor and the meat was fighting back. It was not tender and I had to disappoint... my host by telling them it fell flat on everything. Chips and salsa should?ve been the key indicator that this place was goingto disappoint my tastebuds. I had the beef fajitas and a margarita. Additionally I was expecting a good strong margarita butagain my hopes were dashed. Their only saving grace was our waitress. She was supper helpful navigating such a large group.Extremely professional, a 10 out of 10 on being a top tier waitress. Other guest had complaints on their dishes lackingtaste/spices. I have been eating at Casa Del Rey for years, My daughter was 7 and my son 5 and a 1/2. I have never gotten gotten bad food... regardless of if it was take out or we ate there. I have been to the one on los tunas many times, The one in Arcadia on Baldwinand even had my parents's anniversary dinner there. I have been eating at Sierra Madre since it opened. I have never had foodlike tonight. The Healthy Chicken Salad, it was Healthy OK because there was not much to it. Had to search for the rice, Andthe chicken, It was like the prices have gone up but the quantity of food you getIs less. We have gotten taken out many timesand never have experienced this. The chicken, the riceThe salad overall had no flavor this time. My husband ordered a1 Enchilada meal, It wasn't a smaller container also and and more like eating a kids meal. And again we have gotten taken outmany times and this has never happened. Very very disappointed. At least he ( my husband) had good service when placing theorder to go. Read more
