We have been across the country many times and always try to stop at a Japanese Steakhouse. We were visiting our son and found... Hana Tokyo in Sierra Vista, AZ. This is without a doubt among the very best. Our Chef was Seth and he put on the best show andthe food he prepared for us was delicious. We had so much fun and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is hungry andwants to be entertained. Thank you so much Seth! Read more

I'm from Hawaii and eat Japanese food all the time. I've also been to Japan several times and the food here is very, very good... quality Japanese food. That is the only reason this review is getting 3 stars aside from our individual server. The hosts wouldnot accommodate where we wanted to sit as well as there was another red haired server with waves or curls who was complainingthe whole time about all her customers. The chef doing tricks while cooking was fun. Our food took an hour to get to us...andthe restaurant was only half full. Nothing takes an hour. The only two slower services I've ever received was at Sunny Ds inHuachuca City for breakfast where it took an hour for breakfast and no one took our payment and 2 hours at an IHOP back home forbreakfast food and they still got my order wrong. Our server, the other girl with red hair was fantastic and did everything shecould to accommodate us. She even asked me instructions and experimented to get my drink right as well as what they could do toaccommodate my order. Our server and the quality and authenticity of food was their saving grace for 3 stars instead of 2 or 1stars. Read more

2.5 stars. Food wasn't anything special, especially for the price. The service is really what the rating is for. It was the... first "nice" meal my wife and I had attempted in a while and the server really didn't seem to care about the job or providingeven a basic meal service. Enjoy the $100, we won't be back. Sashimi was decent. Pricey compared to LA. Price is about right but fish grade does not match. Before I joined the army I was a... sushi chef for 7 years. Host/server needs customer service skills. Customers were just piling up at the door with no one togreet them. They packed my sashimi (raw fish) with hot miso soup on top of it. ??????????? Read more

I think that this restaurant is a little too high on the ratings. I would give the building and the inside itself a 4 star but... the rest of the experience brings it down. Starting with the food. The steak wasn?t that bad, the chicken was a little dry andthe shrimp was the best thing. For the price of the food I would expect to get more than a sliver of steak. The spices on thefood was great. When it comes to the alcohol, Kiev (Moscow) Mule, it felt like it was a little watered down. They are gettingrid of Coke products, but they could at least make a cherry Pepsi with grenadine, but I felt I had to beg to get it. Theexperience itself was blah a best. The chef was nice but didn?t not keep the attention as some chefs do. Once again for theprice i would expect a little bit more entertainment, especially on a Friday. This isn?t a bad place, but i will probably takethe hike up to Tuscan before coming here if I am honest. Read more
