My wife and I have picked up take out ,many times. Today we ate in. The owners are friendly. The fried rice is Excellent. She... enjoyed her Ruben and fries. Highly Recommend. Read more
I come from the east where there are delicatessens on every corner. I stopped in to get a cheese steak. This place is funky and... not in a cool way. They have used costume jewelry on tables and soy sauce for sale in old used water bottles it appears. Therewere only two usable tables and it looks like the interior construction was done from leftover dumpster materials. There isabout 15' of roofing drip edge along the booths and part of a shower curtain over the counter. My cheese steak? Greasy, verylittle meat that was dry and a couple slices of American cheese. Yuck! Not sure how this place is rated so high. It smelled great walking in but was very disappointed by the food. My children... liked the basic fried rice. As for me I?m from Pennsylvania where cheesesteaks are heaven. The cheesesteak that I was given wasso pathetic. I ordered the regular cheesesteak but instead received what looked like chicken? So I called to make sure I wasn?tgiven a chicken cheesesteak but was told that I got a regular steak. From my understanding a cheesesteak shouldn?t have whitemeat right!? I don't know if this place has changed hands, but the many stellar reviews do not reflect our experience. I ordered a gyro, my... husband the cheese steak, and both were inedible. The gyro was not made with gyro meat, but some sort of sausage with a stronganise flavor (possibly a Chinese sausage with five-spice powder?), instead of tzatziki sauce it was sour cream, and the pita wasnot heated and stale. His cheese steak came on a gummy roll, had very little meat and I don't think he even made it to thecheese. The fried rice tasted as though it were cooked using stale oil. We each had a bite and threw the whole bag of food away- that was a waste of $25 and two hearty appetites. Read more
