DAIRY QUEEN #10296 4399 Penn Ave. - 10/28/2022 Change of Ownership Inspection: Interior of topping reach in... refrigerator has a build up of spilled toppings at fan/motor shelf area. Hot water at hand sink in food prep area was turned offdue to leaking faucet. The food facility does not have the original certificate for the certified food employee posted in publicview. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of fruit fly insect activity in kitchen areas. Topping bins on front line areastored open with no covering. Lids taped open. Tape must be removed so lids close. Non-food contact surfaces not cleaned at afrequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Splash guard areas of frozen dessert machines and blender spindle have abuild up of old splash debris residue and must be cleaned. Side door located in the dining room area of the food facility has alarge center gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals. Read more
We got here well before 9 PM tonight, and they refused to take our order. They said that they close at 9 and the car in front of... us was the last order of the night. With only 1 car behind us, it?s pretty unprofessional and rude to not help the customers whowere in the drive thru line before close. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Pulled up and didn?t see a line in the drive through. First red flag. I ordered 2 blizzards. The workers were not friendly. I... asked to get my points ap scanned. The girl at the window was snarky and said ?we don?t have a scanner and sarcastically ?have agood night ? and slammed the drive through door. Waited in long line and ordered 3 blizzard?s (2 Heaths and 1 Choc Brownie) None made correctly. One of the heaths were fully... liquid. Turned around, waited in another long line for a remade blizzard, and not even made correctly. Very disappointed withit. My advice, go to a different DQ or different ice cream place! Read more
