Pupusas are my favorite food in the world, and California Bakery does not disappoint. The pupusa filling was especially... flavorful, some of the best I've had. It's a small shop with no place to sit, so be prepared to take it to go, but it's so worthit. I'm excited to come back for more pupusas and to try some of their baked goods. Also, cash only!!! This is Salvadorian comfort food. Did you a good job and I would go back in fact I have. It's not Mexican and to me doesn't even... resemble Mexican although they do serve some Mexican dishes. However, that's not what I go there for. If you are newbie, tryPupusas. Cheese pupusas is a good start. If you're slightly more adventurous try the revueltas (mixed) pupusas.
