A genuine hidden gem. Outstanding coffee, great egg bites, amazing cookies that you will NOT find anywhere else, friendly owners... AND the shop is filled with beautiful art & gift ideas. Crosshatch Coffee in my opinion has the best coffee on both sides of the Mississippi. I learned on our last visit that... everything that they sell is homemade. All of the pastries and sandwiches are made daily. They roast their own coffee. Stopped into this adorable coffee shop on a Sunday morning after a weekend on the lake. The decor is modern and cozy, the... breakfast food and pastries were amazing, the warm drinks were delicious, and the hospitality was top-knotch! We especiallyloved the red pepper quiche, chocolate chip cookies and vanilla lavender scone. As a non-coffee drinker, I thought the chai tealatte was better than my go-to at Starbucks. The owners, Jackie and Sarah,... clearly worked very hard to create an uplifting atmosphere where you can meet friends and family, do some work in town, orquickly pick up a beverage or pastry.\n\nEverything we?ve tried so far has been awesome. Whether you select a quiche bite,scone, or cookie, you?ve made an excellent choice. The 4-cheese or red pepper quiches are deliciously flavored. Their lavenderand pumpkin scones are incredible and unlike so many scones, never dry. And the cookies - my family loves my mom?s chocolatechip cookies - but Jackie?s cookies are simply beyond.\n\nTheir drinks are delicious and much is made in-house.
