Yee Chinese has been a staple in Slidell since I was a child (40+ yrs). The quality and taste of the food has been consistently... good every time I get it. My fiancé and I have been coming to yees since we started dating. I have been going to yees since I was a teenager. Today was... very upsetting!! We came in around 5 ish to have dinner. When we walked in several people were waiting on their order and weapproached the counter waiting to be seated. Some heavy set lady was looking at a screen not even looking up to see us there. This tall guy came in and was asking about the tea and he stuck almost his whole head in the large metal container to see howmuch tea was in there, very unsanitary!! He was asking her if more tea should be made, Really? I would think they would know bynow if that would be enough or not. Finally the Lady replies we will be with you in a min. Getting close to be over 7 minutes. My fiancé looks at me and said let?s go, they don?t need our service! We ate somewhere else!! They need to learn customerservice and value the people who come in to support their business!! Shame on you Lee! We can find a better place that valuesus! Read more
Sometimes it is delish and sometime, I wonder what went wrong. Last time I went, some old lady, that moved like a snail, was... running the counter. It took 10 minutes per person to get their to go orders. There was no standing room, everyone lookaggregated. The food was below their normal quality. They still the best in Slidell. Read more
The food is good but the service is awful. I called 3x and they would just put the phone down every time while they are... entertaining other customers and won't even go back to you until you decided to just hang up since it's taking them forever togo back to the phone. Read more
