Not just a food truck! The restaurant is in Hemby Bridge. Wish I had known about it when it was in downtown Monroe. Stopped by... to try it out last evening. By far the best BBQ and ribs I've had in NC. I had pulled pork and ribs, tater salad and slaw. Themeat was cooked to perfection, moist and tender. The sweet sauce is a perfect compliment to the meat though it doesn't reallyneed sauce. The tater salad was deliciously to die for, wish I could make it like that. The slaw she makes her own mayo basedmixture and it is right tasty as well. Portions are generous...think generous not glutton lol. Owners were there and were reallypersonable outgoing folks. I will be back soon and will make another review on whatever I eat then. Note..I did not make a happyplate took some home. The picture of my plate there is pulled pork under those ribs. Read more

Cheaper than most BBQ places and the food is fantastic. Tried the pulled pork sandwich, potato salad and ribs. The pulled... chicken sandwich and key lime pie are also great. Great atmosphere and fast friendly service as well. Read more

I ordered BBQ for an event of 150 people. Amanda and her husband were so helpful in taking this large order and then having... everything ready exactly when I needed to pick it up. The food was a big hit at the event. I highly recommend them for your nextevent. Read more

Finally stopped by there after driving by for sometime. Service was friendly and quick. Ordered the pork and ribs combo. ... Ribs, and sauce had a great taste. The pork was moist and had some bark which was pleasant. The vinegar sauce was good butcould use a little more spice to it. The coleslaw was excellent. I liked the flavor and it was still crisp. Overallimpression is that I'll definitely stop back by to eat here. Read more

???? What a great lunch we had today @100mainbbq located at 7878 Idlewild road! This was the first time we?ve eaten there and it... won?t be our last. We had the very tender pulled pork and then were privileged to sample their pit beef and homemade HausSauce. Melt in your mouth! My new favorite! They have seating indoors and outdoors, catering, a food truck and now an antiquestore attached to their restaurant. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with the owners, Danny and Amanda. Greatfolks! We truly hope you will stop by and give them a try! We highly recommend them as your next BBQ stop. 100 Main BBQ food truck was amazing for our VBS event. The food was spectacular, and they really went above and beyond for us.... Amanda was a saint in graciously squeezing us in, after another food truck canceled on us 3 days before the big event. I don?tknow what I would have done without 100 Main. They were accommodating to our needs and wonderful to work with. Love thisrestaurant and the owners. Read more

Moving to North Carolina 15 years ago from NJ I was introduced to southern barbecue. I liked it but not a huge fan of smoked... meats because I don?t like to be overwhelmed with smoke flavor. I finally had an opportunity to try 100 Main Beef and BBQ righthere in my own backyard. We tried the ribs, pit beef, brisket, chicken, and pork. Ordered two sides of corn bread and a side ofcoleslaw. Two types of barbecue sauces and horseradish mayo. We loved it! Even my son enjoyed sampling all the differentdishes. Absolutely not overwhelmed by smoke flavor, seasoned/flavored very light which was perfect for me. I prefer to season myfood myself and this met and exceeded expectations. Our favorites are in the following order: Brisket, ribs, pit beef, chickenand the pork. The brisket is absolutely fantastic, not dry, very tender, great flavor. I listed that first because I?ve nevercooked it but when I have eaten it enjoyed it - and they did a wonderful job in my opinion! The ribs are so tender the forkpulled them off the bone. Next time we order ribs I?ll ask them to not put the extra barbecue sauce (on mine) on the ribsbecause, for me, was too sweet. Nit bad by any means I just prefer lighter coating. Not the case for the family - they lovedit!!! The pit beef was phenomenal! I was actually thinking of sautéing onions in butter, then slathering a roll with thehorseradish mayo to eat the pit beef. Really really GOOD stuff! I know, I know I?m turning BBQ into more of a Phillycheesesteak. ???? The chicken was again, perfectly seasoned/flavored, it was not dry at all. I really enjoyed it!! In fact I?mgoing to have it on my salad tomorrow for lunch and my son was going to have some in a sandwich with condiments on it. I listedthe pork last only because - for me - it was a little bit dry compared to the other meats. Now keep in mind I didn?t add saucesto anything, I wanted to taste the meat and how it was cooked. It was not bad by any means, very tender just not Read more
