Had a great experience at Simply Thai. We didn't even know it was there. For those familiar with La Vergne/Smyrna area, it is... tucked back behind the Tractor Supply. There is a little line of shops and it is the left corner shop. We ordered a variety ofthings to get a feel for their food. We ordered fried eggplant, and they were out of eggplant. Our server, Richard asked if wewould like to substituted zucchini instead. I think they used the precut zucchini for other dishes because they were small halfslices. Those were ok, not a great substitute. We tried two of the sushi rolls, the Avacado and Tofu rolls. Both were tasty,and we were pleased that the restaurant uses reusable chopsticks instead of disposable wooden ones. My husband ordered thepineapple curry and I got pad thai, both with tofu. The curry was great. The sweet, creamy texture was excellent. The serverdidn't ask about a spicy level, but it was perfect. The pad thai was good. So glad that it didn't have the orange-like flavorthat I have ran into with other restaurants. Both had great flavor and portion sizes. Our server, Richard, was very pleasantand attentive. Even though we only drank water, our cups never emptied. We had a conversation about the flavor of the pad thaiand he was telling me some of the flavors they used. For me this was great. Overall very pleased. We will return soon. UpdateApril 2019: returned tonight, tried crispy tofu appetizer, fried rice with tofu, and drunken noodles with tofu. Everything wasgood. Only issue was a special request that was forgotten, and since it wasn't a big issue we didn't care. We will stillreturn. Read more

This place is so buried and hidden... If you find it, you'll feel like you've stumbled upon a leprechaun's stash. The food is... spectacular, the restaurant is clean, INCLUDING the bathroom, it's affordable, the staff is very cool, and my 10yo son enjoyedit so much that he immediately declared that he's having his birthday dinner here. Make sure you ask for the sushi menu,because that's not always provided, and the specialty rolls they make are where this place really shines. Read more

They had great food and reasonable prices. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will be going back.
