A friend and I went to this location yesterday November 6th 2022, there was a sweet girl up front but she left and some rude... manager Dee came up and told me that they wouldn't take orders at the store only online. So I placed my order online and whilewaiting for it I saw her take payment from some other people one with cash and one with the credit card. So I went back up toorder some cookies the gentleman that was there rang them up and was about to give them to me when he said the manager said wecould only pay online. We were the only people that they made do this! There was another couple that was waiting around andended up just walking out because nobody even said hello to them much less tried to take their order. Also when they finallymade any orders they didn't tell anybody they were ready, well me or my friend, the other people they brought their stuff tothem.. but I just noticed drinks sitting on the end of the counter had to ask if those were ours; one was my friends and minehad not been made yet. I don't know if it was racially motivated and I'd hate to say so, but the people working there are blackand the people that were able to pay were black, whereas myself my friend and the couple that ended up walking out we're allwhite. I was wearing my BLM t-shirt but maybe that just made her even more "mad", I don't know, but we were the only people shetold we had to pay online! This has also been reported to corporate. And I see on the corporate reviews page the Snellvillealready has horrible reviews there as well. This location needs an overhaul! So, I normally buy my smoothies from Smoothie king but today me & my daughter tried this spot in the area; plus we had free... vouchers to redeem. The atmosphere & smoothies were cool after a few minor requests. Now let's get into the staff, youngteenagers I believe. I've been to Tropical smoothies for years and I've been going to this particular location for the past year or two and not once... have I been greeted when I walk in. I'll stand at the register order and they don't say a word. I brought my family here becauseI love the smoothies and food and they made a comment to me about how rude the staff are. My smoothie was left on the counternobody called my name or anything. Every other tropical smoothie I have been too I've been greeted very warmly. But thisparticular location they don't even greet you at the register you say thank you they don't respond etc. It's a shame cause I'vealways loved the place. Read more
Listen to the reviews. This Tropical Smoothie location (Snellville) has poor customer service. I?m writing this review after... REPEATED bad experiences. I was hoping that since it?s been over a year since my last visit that things would be better. Iplaced a curbside order. After 20 minutes past the time that it was supposed to be delivered to my car, I went inside. Therewere FOUR OR FIVE young people on the clock, and only one young man behind the counter making smoothies. The other workers wereall sitting down at a table doing nothing. After I asked about my curbside order, they then handed me my order, which had justbeen sitting BEHIND the counter for well over 10 minutes (not even on top of the counter where order pickups are placed forgrabbing). I asked why none of the people who were chillin at the table could bring my order curbside after it was made, andthey acted nonchalant. The manager needs to do some SERIOUS training of their staff. Why are there so many people on the clocknot attending to company business? Why advertise curbside and not follow through? And no the restaurant was not busy. I was theonly one inside, so there were no excuses for why my order should not have been brought outside on time as advertised. Bottomline: DO NOT waste your time spending money at this location. If you look at all their reviews, the manager answers some ofthem, so they are WELL AWARE of what?s going on, but does NOTHING to improve the restaurant?s service. Read more

Came here twice after the gym around 8pm on separate days. I typically love tropical smoothie cafe but I don?t even understand... how this location is still open. The staff is so rude and they act agitated every time a customer walks in. They made it seemlike they had a problem taking our order. Our smoothies weren?t even made right. The sink area is filthy ? if you have anyallergies stay far away because they only slightly rinse the blender before the next use. Paid for our drinks and didn?t evendrink them.
