FANTASTIC FRENCH CAFE! My wife and I decided to check out this newly opened cafe today.We popped in around midday for lunch and... were greeted very nicely by Phil behind the counter.We ordered a couple of Caramel Macchiatos and a Roma open face sandwich toshare.The service was very quick and our hot coffees arrived at our table in a blink.Not long after our delicious looking Romasandwich was delivered.Considering this cafe opened only 3 days ago it was doing brisk business at lunch time.We absolutelyenjoyed our amazing coffees and our delightful sandwich which were both beautifully presented.... ....French panache meetsCalifornia cool.We met Emmanuel the chef/owner... .....a very charming man who will no doubt make this lovely cafe verysuccessful.They also serve genuine French wine here and Emmanuel told us a range of locally sourced craft beers is comingsoon.Looks like a winner on the Cedros strip to me! My wife and I enjoyed a lovely lunch here today. We had virtually completed our Sunday bike ride on the 101 and thought that... lunch here would be the perfect finish.The cafe was quite packed out around 1pm when we arrived. It was great to chat withEmmanuel the owner again while I was placing our order for 2 ham crepes and 2 cappuccinos.The crepes tasted superb and ourcappuccinos were a delight. We saw diners enjoying French Red wines with their charcuterie board......it looked mouthwatering.The standard is high at this cafe and that suits us perfectly.And not a laptop or tablet in sight.......yeah baby!!!
