You wouldn?t expect a bbq restaurant like this in a small town. The hostess and waitresses were very attentive and friendly. ... We just hiked about three miles to see waterfalls and told the hostess about it. She gave us directions to another park withwaterfalls. We?d give them five stars for the staff alone. My husband absolutely loved their loaded mashed potatoes. Themashed potatoes were really creamy and a real comfort food. The mashed potatoes were topped with real bacon bits, shreddedMonterey Jack cheese, scallions, and sour cream. His only complaint was that the serving size wasn?t big enough. He also hadthe Big Piggy pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was about a half pound with stringy pulled pork and a branded bun. He saidthe sandwich was good. Their Pig Pen loaded baked potato was not your average loaded potato. The potato was filled withbrisket, shredded cheddar jack cheese, queso, and green onions. It was topped with onion tanglers, barbecue sauce, and SolonSlammin? sauce. The potato was delicious and very filling. I also had a piece of cornbread which was moist and sweet. It wasserved with jalapeño butter, which wasn?t spicy, it was creamy and sweet. Our only complaint was that we ordered the lava cakefor dessert to go. When we got it back to the cabin and opened the box we were very disappointed. The lava cake was the sizeof a donut. It definitely was not a shareable treat. Read more

Incredible food and it came out quick! You can tell it's great pulled pork when it has great flavor even if you don't use any... sauce. But the sauces were fantastic as well. The service was fantasic, multiple people stopped by to ask how the meal was -everyone seemed to want to make sure my visit was memorable. And the atmosphere was perfect for a BBQ joint: It looked oldschool, but everything was new. Great place to stop going to, or coming from the Superior area. Absolutely worth the stop. Read more
