This place has potential to be better. Perhaps it's due to it being off season. The ahi tuna dish and the rack of lamb were... great. However, the tortellini with crab special was overpriced, mediocre in flavor, and looked like a pile of yuck. Generallythings were overpriced...at least the entrees could have come with side salads, which would have helped hold us over during along wait. Also, please consider adding a few vegetarian friendly options. Read more
During the summer peak season, there are precious few restaurants at the shore that will take and honor reservations. Even fewer... with water views will allow reservations on the outside tables with a view. Docs does both. On top of that, their early birdmenu is a great value. This is our go-to summer spot. They adjusted their hours now to a dinner-only service. Read more
A little pricey but worth it! Great food, great entertainment! Good drinks! Ask to be seated outside by the water. Crab cakes... are excellent! Buffalo Shrimp as appetizer were amazing. Tuna sashimi is a very large portion as an appetizer excellent! Read more

We were staying in Ocean City, and wanted to eat dinner at a place where they served alcohol. Doc's was 10 minutes from our... hotel and fit the bill. We are ex-boaters, and enjoyed gazing out on the marina before walking in to get a table. It was aSaturday in late October. We made reservations for 5pm, but arrived early. That was fortuitous because we were able to takeadvantage of their Early Bird specials, saving us quite a bit on our meals. I think my crab cake dish may have been a somewhatsmaller portion than the regular dinner serving, but that was totally fine with me. Our server was very attentive and the foodwas served promptly. The drink menu had interesting choices and we enjoyed what we ordered. The food was also very good. Mycrab cake was dusted with bread crumbs, which initially yielded a dry taste. I wouldn't get it again, but it had plenty of crabmeat in it and the preparation was fully disclosed on the menu. Others may love it. Overall, a great meal and we woulddefinitely return and recommend this establishment. Read more
