Came up the street, since the chain restaurant had a 20 - 30 minute wait. So GLAD we did!!! Loved going back in time, our... waitress was extremely helpful, we were amazed by the portions and the prices are VERY family friendly. We wished we would havediscovered this diner earlier during our weekend stay. Read more
If you plan on making a trip ANYWHERE near Somerset, I would make arrangements based on Summit Diner's schedule. ???? I'm sure... there will ALWAYS be a short wait but the staff is THE MOST EFFICIENT I HAVE EVER SEEN. And the food is SO DELICIOUS. Everythingis homemade, right down to their meringue pies. If I EVER find myself anywhere nearby, I will make sure I have time to stop atthis AMAZING RESTAURANT. The ONLY complaint I can think of, is having entirely too many delicious options on the menu. This was our first visit to the diner and we really enjoyed it! It has really cool, old school vibes. All the food was good,... the fried pickles were delicious! My only complaint is that they don't accept a card, cash only. Still worth a visit if you arein the area. Read more
