TLDR: This place is okay! Food is usually good, but not always. If the game is on, the regular, non-tattooed bartenders will... forget you ever ordered and you will have to fight to remind them. But they're mostly okay. Sometimes you spend severalhundred dollars here with a few friends- prices are similar to some of the more trodden areas. The double cheeseburger was good, Nashville?s hot fried chicken was decent. We also had the deviled eggs, which weren?t... great. They served scotch with a single ice cube (!) and it didn?t taste great. Overall, decent food but nothingextraordinary. Read more
I learned to love Brussels sprout salad thanks to these guys. It's such a friendly neighborhood joint, open late, relaxed, and... with a good cook to boot. All my favorite dishes are appetizers and deserts, so I usually order two of the first and one of thelatter, which I like because I never feel stuffed after eating here. Great beer selection. Went on a Friday night and was seated quickly which was a plus. Ordered the heirloom & fried green tomato salad and crab cakes... as appetizers. The salad was a decent portion but the crab cakes came with just two pieces. At $13 I don?t recommend them eventhough the flavors were good. I got the goat curry stew that had plantains. It was wonderful! Great portion size and preparedvery well. I?d ordered it again for sure. I left 4 stars since the apps I feel like weren?t the best especially for their value. Read more
