Aromatic coffee and a delicious breakfast were waiting for me in this pet friendly cafe. Staff is very hospitable.
I used to proudly recommend this place to my friends as the best breakfast sandwich spot in town. Sadly, since new management... around 6 months ago I cannot recommend it at all. I really tried to give it time and keep coming back but I'm unfortunately done after today. 3 out of my last 10 sandwiches have been wrong. The first one they forgot the egg - THE EGG - in thebreakfast sandwich... that's the main ingredient. The second one they forgot the Bacon and avocado I paid extra for. The third,which I just sadly unwrapped - was missing bacon, tomato, and onion. Just egg cheese and avocado.... The chai latte I got for mygirlfriend was also undrinkable, tasted like they forgot to add oat milk or maybe the oat milk was spoiled? On top of that,when my orders have been correct, quality has been wildly consistent, and wait times have been much longer even though there arenot many people waiting. The only nice things I can say are that the staff are always pleasant and the coffee has been decent.But with the price and wait, the quality and inconsistency is unacceptable. Ever since the new owner took over this place has gone so far down hill. What used to be a slightly run-down but kitschy local... cafe with great prices and homey food is now a slightly run down cafe with small portions and overpriced menu items. I?vereally given the place a fair shake too, having gone there roughly 10 times since the new owners. In those times I?ve found themclosed on a Sunday morning, was served a stale (or maybe overcooked?) scone, was told the kitchen was closed at noon, andwatched people who ordered after me get their drinks before mine. At the end of the day the beans they use are good so it?sstill fine to get a coffee but I?d say you?re better off drinking it at home. Read more
That was not me who berated your staff i didnt even mean to rate your coffee shop. It was a butt dial/ butt rating type of... thing. I actually had a good time and ate with my boyfriend. However i do believe your response was extremely unprofessional.I will remove my mistaken rating as it was not accurate to my experience. However your response is worth one star. As anestablishment id think asking questions as opposed to assumptions would be the correct professional response. Read more
