One of my favourite spots for sure! The patio is such a great spot to hang out, especially with all the extras back here. Today,... on a Sunday we get to enjoy some live music with our meal. Danielle great service friendly recommendations. Had 2 17 Mile Burgers and Fish and Chips. Burgers fresh with perfectly cooked... bacon. If it's been a while since you've had a real Beef burger this place is worth the drive. Oh my goodness this place was awesome!!! The seafood chowder in a sour dough bread bowl is the absolute best!!! The staff is... friendly and very accommodating!!! A friend and I had lunch here. I had the baron beef with side salad and it was absolutely delicious, went well beyond my... expectations. My friend had the fish and chips but was a little disappointed on the portion sizes but fish was good. Wow?just love this place! We stayed for the winter on Vancouver Island in 20/21 and we were a half an hour from this pub in... Sooke. We just couldn?t stayed away! Probably came close to trying everything on the menu. Built in 1894 as a hotel, became aregular stagecoach stop, a church and school. Later it became a pub in 1920, when it housed the only phone in the area, and theowner obtained a beer license to entice patrons from long distances. We are back again for the winter and looking forward toour first dinner and drink! With it?s amazing history and great atmosphere I would recommend this pub to anybody! Read more
