I drove up to this area from Indianapolis to buy something off Facebook marketplace and stopped here for dinner. I wish there... was one of these down where I live. The staff was exceedingly friendly and the food was very good. I ordered the seafood medleycacciatore. So I ordered a pizza 16 in. Told them to make sure there was a decent amount of cheese. This pizza had more toppings on it than... cheese.. it wouldn't even stay together. What I'm getting at is this place is inconsistent. I even said make sure there is adecent amount of cheese. If I'm paying 30 dollars for a pie it should be right.y son was so disappointed. South Bend if you're not eating here You Are Missing Out!! On a Random Tuesday this retired traveler wanted Italian and Macri's... was the choice. Oh my were they packed! I saw to-go orders on top of who was in the restaurant showing up left and right. Thesefolks were hopin'!! We got the large antipasta salad we shared which was so wonderful and fresh but then had to wait a bit andyes dinner was late. However the waitress was super attentive and let us know what to expect and our experience in this littlerestaurant was wonderful! When dinner did arrive it was amazing! Hot and flavorful and once again the staff was super attentiveand apologetic about the wait. Fantastic! This has quickly become one of my favorite establishments in the area. The food is exquisite, the service heartfelt,... the desert impeccable, and the atmosphere/ambience is absolute perfection. There is nice quiet music playing in the background,a game on tv, the walls are scattered with historic pictures and outsanding masterpieces! I would certainly recommend this placeto anyone who loves service with a smile & home made Italian food! Everything tasted wonderful, and they even have a wine list.Don't even get me started on their pies. I dont write many bad reviews but for this kind of money you can go literally anywhere elsenearly and get a better pizza. I had high hopes for this place but was let down.
