Great food, clean bathrooms, great music! Valet during certain hours but understandable! Black owned! Lamp chops perfect!... Garnish was out of these world! I met the cook who went to culinary school! So i can see the love ! Soul food egg rolls aredelicious! Yams best I ever had! Read more
The side dishes was not worth the price, food prices were too high. What I did like was the lobster bites but at 60.00 that was... too much, the soul rolls were delicious. They tacked on 18% gratuities because my family was there. It took us 1hr to sit usthen another hour and 30mins for our food. My Sons Signature Hamburger was also good. Read more
Very disappointed compared to the recommendation I received. Ordered a 10 piece wing ding appetizer and a catfish dinner. The... wing dings were super small and they gave me 9 flats out of 10 pieces, if I was a flat lover that would be nice but I'm notcould have at least been even distribution. Also they drowned the wings in sauce, like had to dig around to find them all it wasso much sauce. The greens that came with the catfish dinner was mostly stems barely any greens honestly. Don't get me wrong thefood tasted decent just washed they weren't being so cheap with the distribution for as much as they charge. And for that it'sprobably a no go for me. Read more
A few days ago I visited Grille 55 for the first time. It has a nice atmosphere. The hostess was pleasant and the music was on... point. My friend and I sat at the bar, where the service was prompt. I ordered the catfish dinner, which was delicious. My sideswere collard greens (made w/ turkey as per the bartender) & sweet potatoes. Everything was seasoned well, I enjoyed it. Everything was amazing! They were a little busy when we came in, so we had to wait a minute, but that?s expected on a Saturday... evening with city events right outside. Our server was beyond incredible. Attentive, super friendly, beautiful and kind! I hadthe lobster bites. I was nervous with them being the most expensive entree, but the portion matched the price and it was a goodquality lobster. The sides were amazing. We will definitely be back! Read more
