Really disappointed in the whipped ricotta cheese bruschetta?barely any ricotta, pesto too salty and bread was more like Texas... toast. NOT up to its usual standards. Recommend improving it to meet its written description or take it off the menu. Read more
Very disappointed! Pre-Covid one of my favorite upscale restaurants. Had dinner last night, 4/29/22, ?poor food quality and... mediocre service. Started off ordering a drink...asked the server if the bartender knew how to make an Old Fashioned. Wasassured she could...she couldn't. Told the server how to fix the drink...it came back the same with a piece of orange stuck init. They also didn't have my favorite whiskery, but I figured, heck, there are shortages everywhere. They were out of the ChopI wanted on the menu, but settled for a rib eye steak. It was very fatty and accompanied by thin, stringy overcooked FrenchFries. My companion ordered the Chicken Breast and found it to be rubbery and undercooked. On a positive note, thelobster/crab cake appetizer was very good. When I told the server about the issues, she said she was sorry, but did not summonthe manager or offer to make amends...simply shrugged and dropped the check on the table and left. Just over $100.00 for onedrink, one appetizer and two entrees...not a good value at all. Read more

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere here at Food 101. The scallops were fresh, and the pork was tasty. I especially loved the wide... cariety of appetizers. If you live in Western Mass, and are looking for a nice meal, this is the place. Read more

I've enjoyed it dozens of times and it's never varied,except pricewise, which is always comparable to other establishments. All other offerings are equally superlative, the winelistis varied and not overpriced like most, strong pour on drinks Food 101's chef is exceptionally talented, and the waitstaff areconsistently well trained.
