I have never had a more disgusting, raw steak than what I have had here. I ordered a medium well and it was purple inside. Maybe... because I went while it was busy, but it still sucked. Great staff... professional, engaging & well informed on the menu. Our waitress was gregarious and attentive without being... smothering. Drop-dead terrific menu with some of the most wonderful foodstuffs I've read in the last five years. We split anapp of braised Brussel sprouts with bacon and drizzled them with a warm balsamic dressing. Yum! Cooked flawlessly with themelt-in-your-mouth outer leaves with the perfect amount of char, the inner core was nice & crunchy. That was followed by aplate of mac 'n cheese heaped with pulled pork. The mac 'n cheese was nicely goo-y with the right amount of cheese sauce, butthe pulled pork was a little bland... it needed more BBQ sauce. Absolutely no room for dessert. Such a cute place. Small but cute. Make sure you call ahead if you have a party over 4. The wings were stellar, wish they were a... little more wet but still real good. Ordered a burger and it was ok. A little light on the fries and the bun was realllyyyyburned underneath. Ordered the veggie chili and it was good. Beware because it has meat in it. Not sure if we missed it on themenu but it has meat. Ordered pulled pork and was disappointed. The pork was dry and it wasn?t tossed in sauce, it was justsquirted on top which wasn?t enough. The Mac was flavorless, honestly Kraft makes a better one. The cornbread was dry not toosweet which was nice but very dry. The onion rings were great though! Excellent experience. Went on a Friday night at 6 , little busy bartenders and wait staff working hard. Food was delicious.... baked beans like my swamp Yankee grandma use to make. Live music while we ate nice treat. Had a maple syrup old fashioned wasgreat as well. Will return. Read more
