The service was very good; our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and promoted all the specials. The Serrano ham... croquettes were divine! The rest of our meal was good, but fairly standard for a Cuban restaurant. (It's our opinion this isreally a La Carreta in disguise. That isn't a bad thing, just saying. The menu is exactly the same and the food recipes tastedalmost identical to our local one.) Read more

I was SO disappointed with our visit here today. The plantains tasted old/stale. The waitress never checked on us. We ran out of... water and I had to get up and get the attention of one of the guys who were cleaning so we could get more water. The place onlyhad 3 other tables. It was not busy so there is no excuse for this terrible service. Our waitress was sitting at the bar behindus chatting with coworkers. I didnt get her name but she was blonde. Honestly regretted our choice. So for those of you readingthis review please take your money where you'll be given fresh delicious food and great service, not here. Read more

SOUTH MIAMI, FL ? This restaurant has a nice history. First, it was Casa Larios, founded by Quintín and María Teresa Larios... who later opened up Larios on the Beach with their celebrity partners Emilio and Gloria Estefan. . After several years, theysold Casa Larios and became Casa Cuba. . The brand took on a new style, still with the Cuban flair, but with a new twist. InMiami where about 70% of restaurants big and small serve Cuban food, it?s hard to stand out; to create a unique ambiance andidentity for your brand. . Some of Casa Cuba?s dishes have a great presentation, others have a plain look. But all of them havea great taste, no doubt about that. . The staff are courteous, polite and professional; well-dressed and ready to accommodateall guests who walk through the door. . The restaurant has done a great job with their interior décor, keeping it simple withneutral colors and clean. But, in my humble opinion, the exteriors would benefit with a new look and façade. Also, theirinterior air conditioner was on full blast which makes it colder than normal inside and the food gets colder a lot quicker, soyou can?t enjoy it slowly. . ? D?V? Always great food, but if you don?t know Spanish it can make it a bit hard to order. Needless to say it is the best breakfast... spot in in town. If you like coffee, make sure you order a cafe? con leche. Put a couple packs of brown sugar in and then bamyou are in business. Every time I?m in town I come to this restaurant for one reason. The quality of food and coffee. Thisrestaurant is also a great spot to mingle and meet people. Get out there and enjoy some delicious Cuban food and coffee. Read more
