Gee, I used to love this place many years ago. Went there for a special night out with my favorite wife recently. Last time we... were there, which was about 15 years ago (we don?t live nearby), we had the same kind of experience. This time, Bruce theowner, talked me into having his favorite dish, the crab cakes. We did order the table side salad and my wife had the SteakDiane. Two crab cakes were served. I ate one and picked open the other one. Both were so over cooked, dried out and tasteless,that I wasn?t interested in choking down another. Bruce looked at my uneaten plate and asked, ?what?s wrong?? I hadn?tcomplained, but then told him what I thought. He replied, ?really?? turned and disappeared. Never to be seen again. We paid forthe entire meal. I won?t be back, but Bruce couldn?t care less. So his response: "Another wanna-be"... typical Bruce... Yeah,I'm a "wanna-be" happy with a good meal. This is more than a restaurant... it's an EXPERIENCE! The food was exquisite. The waitstaff goes above and beyond! And the... atmosphere is so intimate and cozy!!! I cannot possibly say enough about this spectacular place! It would be a perfect place tocelebrate a special occasion. It's intimate, cozy, warm and inviting. My husband and I are absolutely addicted to Fetishes. We have been customers now for five years. The owner, Bruce Caplan, is... delightful and very entertaining with his delicious table-side creations. The atmosphere is quiet and lovely and his serversare well-prepared. We primarily get the Chateaubriand, which is undoubtedly one of the finest cuts of steak we have ever had. The table-side Caesar salad is always delicious, whether prepared by Bruce or one of his servers. The table-side desserts(Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee) are masterfully prepared and luscious. We highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
